Kapul Champions is an independent organisation based in Papua New Guinea for men with diverse sexualities (MDS) and trans people. Kapul Champions has a board of trans people and MDS representing the various regions of PNG, a secretariat based in NCD, Varahe Street Gordons, at the National AIDS Counsel Office. The organisation was launched in 2012 by the Papua New Guinea Minister of Health and HIV. Mr. Michael Malabag. It is funded by AusAID and supported by the Australian federation of Aids Organisation, Igat Hope Inc, UNAIDS in PNG and Papua New Guinea Development Law Association.
