Pacific
Pacific Islanders of Diverse Sexual Orientations and Gender Identities & Expressions and Sex Characteristics + (PIDSOGIESC+) live healthy, happy, safe and prosperous lives in fully inclusive and just Pacific societies. The Pacific Sexual and Gender Diversity Network (PSDN) is a network representing the interests of people with diverse sexual orientations, gender identities, gender expressions and sex characteristics in the Pacific region since 2007. The PSDN is a region-wide network of community organisations and projects and is the first of its kind in the Pacific. It formed in recognition of the need to develop an effective regional response to the actual and potential threat that HIV and AIDS poses to sexual and gender minorities across the Pacific. Currently the PSDN includes representation from the Cook Islands, Federal State of Micronesia (FSM), Fiji, Kiribati, Nauru, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Republic of Marshall Islands, Samoa, Tonga, Tuvalu and Vanuatu. It also includes Youth, PLHIV and LBTI Women representatives.
